Sledding and mountain biking

Camden's grandma reminded me the other night that I have been slacking when it comes to postings on this site - I'm sorry but our home computer has been taken apart while we were waiting for the new office furniture to arrive. Check out the desk below:

Camden and I got out for some more sledding this past Sunday and the snow was packed and fast! He flew down the hill - it actually scared me as I wasn't expecting him to take off as fast as he did or go as far. Check out how grown up our little guy looks pulling his sled across the snow:

Monday I had to go to Southern Utah again for work so my buddy Eric and I took our bikes to go mountain biking in Saint George. My brother Keith came and and hooked up with us for a ride on Bear Claw Poppy and Stucki Springs trails. It was a little muddy but we got in a good 1 1/2 ride. A long day but worth it to get in some mtn biking when Salt Lake is still covered in the white stuff:

SLEDDING!!! And a Christmas Tree

This past weekend we got a good snow (finally)

We probably got 6 inches at our house Saturday and the mountains finally got dumped on.

Sunday was sunny and nice, so we got Camden bundled up in the snow suit our friend's the Concannon's gave him and headed out to the snow. We started on the little hills in our yard but then ran into the neighbors who were headed over to the school for the BIG hill. Camden loved it. His little sled (Also from the Concannon's! - thanks guys!!!!) was much faster than I expected. Camden was probably one of the fastest on the hill and going down farther than anyone since he is so small. I must have drug him up that hill 20 times and every time he would throw his arms over his head and screech with laughter. Possibly the most fun I've ever had!!

The pictures are just of the little hill in our yard - we forgot to take the camera to the big hill. Maybe this weekend.

After a full day of sledding we picked up our Christmas tree. Since we are spending Christmas in Hawaii this year we decided to get a small one - it is only about 6 1/2ft tall. Not the usual 10-12 ft like we normally get. It looks so small in our house compared to trees in the past. But this is the first year that Cam really seems to understand what is going on. He was so excited to help decorate the tree. We also put a lighted reindeer in the front yard. Every ten minutes he grabs me by the hand to go look at the deer from the front window saying "Deer? Deer?" I'm so excited about Christmas this year, it almost feels like when I was a kid - the anticipation is killing me!

This is Cam's newest talent. When you ask him to smile - this is the face you get. My favorite is the one with him using his deflated basketball as a hat.

Thanksgiving

Here are a few more pictures from Thanksgiving I forgot to post.
We had so much fun and look forward to moving to the Northwest to be close to Grandma and Grandpa!

Somehow the Halloween costumes came out!

Not sure what Serena is trying to show us here?!?!

I Love Wednesday's!!

That's right - Wednesday's. Because this is the night we go to Little Gym! We have had Camden in Little Gym for a year now. It is so much fun watching him and how he advances each week. When we first started he could barely stand. Now he's hanging from bars, jumping, doing forward rolls - you name it. His favorite thing to do lately is to stand on this big yellow mat just out of reach from the parallel bars and jump to them to hang there for as long as he can. He could do that over and over. He is one of the youngest in the class right now and is picking stuff up from some of the other kids - some bad/some good. It's fun to watch how he interacts with others his age. Here are a few picks from last weeks class I took with my phone:

Hanging on the Bar Climbing over the Mats Every class ends with BUBBLES!
They get bubbles on their bellies
And get to chase them around!
